Daniel Lamb Byte–size Bits & Bobs

Who is Daniel Lamb?

Hello, thanks for stopping by!

As a senior software development professional and technical architect, I have 16 years experience specializing in large-scale architecture and web development impacting hundreds-of-millions.

Born and raised in Washington, I currently live near Seattle, and yes it does rain all the time. Recently I’ve been spending my time writing C# and JavaScript, and providing technical reviews and proofing for book titles from Manning Publications, Packt Publishing and The Pragmatic Bookshelf.

When I’m not writing code for cash, I enjoy contributing my time to open source projects. If I’m not creating experiments here, you’ll find me on Stackoverflow helping developers with JavaScript conundrums.

To relax, I love to unplug by getting exercise and taking pictures as I explore nature. Or by reading a good book with some music I like. I am an aspiring author, but my full schedule rarely permits me the time to write more than micro blog posts on Google+.

You can check out some of the other projects and charity work I’m involved with as well as connect with me at my LinkedIn profile (I love networking with smart people).

First Computer: Texas Instruments TI-99/4A

Bragging Rights: I’m left handed.

Odd Fact: I have performed at the White House.

Hmmm, I may have too many social profiles… just follow the ones you’re interested in.
